Summary

Western Regional Sales Manager ensures implementation of strategic objectives and responsible for independent representative groups, dealers, and end users. This position develops market specific sales plans and is responsible for achieving sales targets for the identified territories and market segments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • This position can reside in the western US but must have the ability to regularly travel up to 40% of time within the region

  • The Regional Sales Manager reports to the Vice President, Sales and is responsible for ensuring the organization’s sales and revenue are managed, developed, and leveraged to their fullest potential within the assigned region

  • The successful Regional Sales Manager will have the ability to understand, articulate, and lead complex sales processes - across multiple distribution channels

  • We expect our Regional Sales Managers to establish strong internal networks to support their sales team’s growth activities

  • Define and implement sales and distribution strategies in the defined region – aligning to overall company goals

  • Manage sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes

  • Ensure a consistent sales approach is set and followed to support growth

  • Drive execution of sales strategies ensuring processes and metrics are in place to meet and exceed revenue targets

  • Cultivate and leverage relationships across all company’s business functions, key decision makers within distribution partners and A&D community

  • Analyze sales data to identify areas of success and opportunity for growth within the region

  • Maintain high level of industry knowledge, best practices, and developments within our key target markets

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or marketing-related study; minimum 3 years of related work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
