Job Description

The Business Development Support (BDS) representative will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with dealer partners and ensuring deals flow through the pipeline efficiently. The BDS representative is also responsible for bringing in business and working with dealer partners to fund deals and reach volume targets as set by Source One.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Achieving volume targets

· Creating and maintaining relationships with dealer partners (participating and non-participating)

· Understanding income, credit, and funding policies and procedures to work deals efficiently

· Liaise and work closely with income, credit, and funding teams to cooperatively move deals through the sales pipeline to booking

· Communicating with dealers via inbound calls/outbound calls/email/DTN notes/SMS to assist in processing and servicing

· Highlighting Source One’s program benefits to dealers

Includes but not limited to:

1. Inquiries/questions on credit apps/worksheet
2. Obtaining proof of income, documents, and commitments
3. Restructuring worksheets as needed to fit parameters

· Gain commitments and obtain funding packages to obtain volume targets

· Follow up on all opportunities, outstanding and new

· Grow territory and dealer participation

- Growth objectives will be targeted and measured

· Follow a designated call cycle (in person, telephone calls, texts, email, etc.) that ensures contact is made with each dealer within a specified period.

· Stay up to date on competitive knowledge in order to effectively market Source One

Job Specifications

· 3+ years of related sales experience preferably in the auto financing arena

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Ability to scrutinize documents and information with a keen eye for detail

· Ability to analyze and process information provided, to determine requirements

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

· Strong team player, with effective communication skills for both internal and external contacts

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel & SharePoint)

· Ability to learn and adapt to new programs and technology

· Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information

· Understanding of the process, to problem solve issues that may arise

· Willingness to learn and commit to meeting performance standards and metrics

· Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced environment, for peak times

· Must be available to work rotating shifts between 9am-9pm EST and rotating Saturdays as required
