Position Overview
Reporting to the Oreflow Supervisor, the Oreflow Attendant is responsible for:
- Use of various pieces of mobile and fixed equipment or machines to move workers, materials, and equipment throughout the mine and hoisting plant
- Performing a number of tasks as an underground labourer, slime haulage, loading pocket attendant, auxiliary cage tender, cage tender, and trolley attendant
- Other duties as required
- Working Schedules include days and nights
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have:
- Full Underground Hard Rock Mining Common Core
- At least 2 years underground experience
- Experience with crushers, hoists, conveyor systems, utility vehicles and trolleys
- Tolerance for working at depth in warm conditions
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
